Kyushu University Selected as Global 30’s Core University for Internationalization

Kyushu University has been chosen to be one of the universities that will take part in the Project for Establishing Core Universities for Internationalization (Global 30), which is promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as part of their efforts for the realization of the “300,000 Foreign Students Plan,” starting from 2009.
The project is aimed at boosting friendly competition among foreign students to nurture high-quality talent who can take active roles in the international arena, by helping establish international bases that represent Japan, by improving the systems used for giving lectures in English, by accepting foreign students, and through enhanced strategic international cooperation.
