Kyushu University was selected for inclusion in the Top Global University Project administered by MEXT. It is designated a Type A grantee, the category for universities conducting world-class education and research that have the potential to be counted among the World University Rankings first 100 institutions. To achieve this goal, we enhance the career support system for international students.

Joint Briefing Session 2015 for international students was held at Gymnasium, Ito Campus on March 5th, 2016 as a part of the project.

26 leading companies including manufacturing, infrastructure, and others participated in the event. Career counseling sessions by career advisors and lectures for job hunting were also held on that day.

A total of 144 students, 136 master course students and 7 undergraduate students from Graduate School of Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering, Graduate School of Bioresource and Bioenvironmental Sciences, Graduate School of Integrated Frontier Sciences, Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Global Society, Graduate School of Law and Graduate School of Economics. Participants are mainly from China, Korea, ASEAN countries, United States and Africa.
