Enrolling in Graduate School Courses
 
Application examinations for graduate school courses are administered by each faculty.
 
Application Requirements
Application requirements are as shown below for all faculties.
Open to those who have completed schooling equivalent to 16 years of education (elementary 6 years, middle school 3 years, high school 3 years, college 4 years) overseas (outside of Japan).
For PhDs in medical or dental fields, applications are open to those who have completed schooling equivalent to 18 years of education in Japan (final course in medicine or dentistry).
 
Application Procedures
Tests for special admissions for international students are normally administered by each faculty.
However, international students who have graduated from a Japanese university will not be considered for special admissions, and some departments may require normal admission examinations.
