Application
Procedure |
|
Applications are distributed
from early October, and applicants
should follow the procedures below.
Physically disabled applicants
who require special attention
during tests and classes should
explain their needs in the box
provided at the bottom of the
application. |

by mail |
| |
Applicants must clearly
write their name, address
and postal code, and provide
a return envelope (magazine
size) with a 200 yen stamp.
If the applicant lives abroad,
they must enclose an international
return envelope with a stamp
that contains the amount
needed for 150 grams by
airmail. Write eSpecial
Application for International
Studentsf in red letters
on the envelope and send
it to the address below. |

Applicants may apply in
person. |

Applications must be received
by Kyushu University during
the designated period (the
first half of December).
Applications received after
this period will not be

Selection
Methods |
|
The selection of applicants
shall be based on results
of one TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge
English proficiency test
(FCE, CAE or CPE), the grades
on the international student
tests from Japan designated
by each faculty, and the
grades or interview results
of Japanese tests (science
and art technology excluded)
administered by Kyushu University.
Tests of basic education
may also be conducted during
interviews. |

of Accepted Applicants |

| The names of successful applicants
will be announced at Kyushu University
in early March and, at the same
time, acceptance letters and enrollment
procedures will be mailed out.
The test scores of successful
applicants will also be listed
on the Kyushu University homepage. |

Enrollment Procedures |
|
Submit the documents required
for enrollment, in person or by
mail, by the designated date.
Those who do not complete enrollment
procedures by the specified date
will be considered to have declined
enrollment. |
