On Wednesday, June 10, 2015, a lecture entitled"Masato Suzuki × History of Cinema" was held atSHIIKI HALL on the Ito Campus.The event was held aiming to reconsider thehistorical transformation of "film experience"through music. Masato Suzuki, a widely acclaimedconductor, composer, pianist and organist,appeared as a special guest and played the pianofor the screening of early films.The numerous participants from both inside andoutside the university community were captivatedby Mr. Suzuki's musical experiments and hisreflection on the inter-media relationship betweenmusic and film.The C&C Project 2014 President’s AwardCeremony was held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.This project implemented by QREC supportsunique research and practical projectsdemonstrating a bold or entrepreneurial approachthat have been planned by Kyushu Universitystudents themselves.This year, one project was selected to receive thePresident’s Award, while two projects received theExcellence Award.C&C Project 2014PresidentOs AwardCeremony Takes PlaceAt the lecture sessionMr. Suzuki playing the piano at the eventCommemorative photo at the CeremonyMr. Joshua Roan, the winner of the President's Award24
