Application for Enrollment Fee Exemption(Deferment) and Tuition Fee Exemption under the effects of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

 We extend the application period for Enrollment Fee Exemption(Deferment) and Tuition Fee Exemption due to the effects of Coronavirus disease. For details, please check here.

(1) For students who cannot come to Japan after the scheduled enrollment date due to effects of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

 For those who cannot come to Kyushu University during the exemption application period due to effects of Coronavirus disease, please read here and submit required documents.

Please download required forms below.
  - 〔Form1〕 Application Form for Enrollment Fee Exemption/Deferment and Tuition Fee Exemption for Spring Semester 2020  (All students must submit.)
  - 〔Form2〕 Budget Report        (All students must submit.) 
  - 〔Form3〕 Statement of Room Sharing  (If you do not share a room in Japan as of April 1st, you do not need to submit.)

(2) For students who cannot come to the university or wish to apply for the exemption by post due to effects of Coronavirus disease.

2. Application Flow

 Check the application eligibility and procedures on “Application Guidebook” and apply for by the deadline.

  * Freshman (including prospective MA/Ph.D. student and transfer student) must submit the following "Provisional Application Form" at the enrollment procedure.
    ・Provisional Application Form (Enrollment Fee Exemption/Deferment)
    ・Provisional Application Form (Tuition Fee Exemption)

   * If you apply for the enrollment fee exemption/deferment, please do not pay the enrollment fee at the enrollment procedure, and make sure to submit "Provisional Application Forms". By submitting, the payment is deferred until the application result is notified.

3. Application periods for newly-enrolled students

     Pre-check of application content: from Friday April 3 to Thursday April 9   Monday April 20
     *excluding weekends and holidays
     Step1: from Friday April 3 to Thursday April 16   Tuesday April 21
     Step2: from Monday April 6 to Friday April 17    Wednesday April 22
     *excluding weekends and holidays

  Result Notification:     - Enrollment Fee Exemption/Deferment: Late June
                                       - Tuition Fee Exemption: Late July
