Campus Restrictions: Kyushu University
Thank you for your understanding and support regarding changes to the operations of the University.
Cases of COVID-19 infection were discovered in Kyushu University at the beginning of August, raising concerns, but no infections have been reported since then. Once again, your understanding and support is much appreciated.
Nonetheless, the spread of infection persists all over the country, including Fukuoka prefecture.
Ensuring the health and safety of our faculty, staff, students, neighboring community, and visitors is always Kyushu University's top priority, so those who are not affiliated with the University (i.e., those other than students, faculty, staff, anyone working on campus, and designated suppliers) are discouraged from making non-essential visits to the campuses.
We ask those who are not affiliated with Kyushu University and have appointments with the University's faculty and staff to communicate within your circle about the necessity of your visit ahead of time. If your visit is still necessary, please keep your visits as short as possible to help prevent the spread of infection by taking extra precautions.
Please note that Kyushu University Hospital* follows its own action guidelines and Ito Clinic** is excluded from these restrictions.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
