To Kyushu University Students, Faculty & Staff:
Campus Restrictions: Kyushu University
Thank you for your understanding and support regarding changes to operations at Kyushu University.
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and following the government's lifting of priority measures to prevent the spread of infections in Fukuoka Prefecture, the University has lowered guidance levels based on the action guidelines as of July 12, 2021.
However, we ask for your help in preventing the further spread of COVID-19 and protecting the health of not only our students, faculty and staff but also local residents and visitors to our campuses. Kyushu University will continue to exercise extra caution by refraining from accepting visitors from areas where a state of emergency has been issued as well as refraining from hosting any non-essential and non-urgent visits from areas under a quasi-state of emergency where priority measures are being taken to prevent the spread of infections. We will also reconsider the necessity of visits from areas where COVID-19 infections are rapidly spreading.
If you do visit the campuses, we ask that you keep the length of your stay to a minimum and give the utmost consideration to preventing the spread of COVID-19 infection. This also applies to campus visits deemed necessary by visitors from outside of the university.
