Campus Restrictions and Facilities Status at Kyushu University

Thank you for your understanding and support regarding changes to operations at Kyushu University.

Restrictions for Fukuoka Prefecture have been lifted as of October 14, following a drop in the number of COVID-19 cases nationwide. In light of this, the university will ease some restrictions on activities on campus starting October 15 and will begin requiring a record of all campus visits by non-university members, with infection prevention measures implemented at each facility.

Under these circumstances, we ask for your help in preventing the further spread of COVID-19 and protecting the health of our students, faculty and staff, local residents, and visitors to our campuses. The university will reconsider the necessity of accepting visitors from prefectures in areas where the virus is rapidly spreading, and will instead consider alternatives such as holding conferences remotely.

If you visit the campus, we ask that you keep the length of your stay to a minimum and give the utmost consideration to preventing the spread of COVID-19 infection. The same applies to campus visits deemed necessary by visitors from outside of the university.

Access to Kyushu University Hospital shall be allowed in accordance with the hospital's action guidelines. Use of Ito Clinic is not subject to this notice.

Your understanding and cooperation is highly appreciated. (Last updated on November 10)
