A symposiumwas held that afternoon, at whicha lively exchange of opinionstook place concerning theglobalization of cybersecurityeducation and research.Following on from this, KyushuUniversity will undertakewide-ranging, ongoingcybersecurity research focusedon advanced securitytechnologies to combatcybersecurity attacks, advancedtechnologies to makecyberspace more robust, theeffects of new legal systemsfocused on humans, the IoT(Internet of Things), and otheraspects of cyberspace, and theimpacts on the economy.Cybersecurity is crucial, as itaffects not merely technicalfields, but systems throughoutsociety.
