Signing Ceremony for the university-level agreement between Kyushu University and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences

The signing ceremony for the university-level agreement between Kyushu University and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) was held on June 6th, 2017.
The university-level agreement on academic cooperation was signed by President Chiharu Kubo and President Zhogli Ding, with the presence of Director Akito Arima, China Research and Communication Center, JST, which provided an important bridge between two universities.  
UCAS is a comprehensive university affiliated with Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), which is one of the leading research institutions in China. The university was established as a distinctive higher education institution where advanced research and educational activities are conducted.
This agreement will make a contribution to promote university-level academic exchanges in various area, such as conducting an international joint research in the area of environmental energy.
