Visiting professor Yoshino Akira of Research and Education Center for Advanced Energy Materials, Devices, and Systems wins 2018 Japan Prize

On Tuesday, January 30, 2018, Dr. Yoshino Akira, Visiting professor of Research and Education Center for Advanced Energy Materials, Devices, and Systems at Kyushu University, Honorary Fellow at Asahi Kasei Corp, President of Lithium Ion Battery Technology and Evaluation Center (LIBTEC), and Professor of Graduate School of Science and Technology at Meijo University, wins the 2018 Japan Prize.
He has been awarded the 2018 Japan Prize in the field of Resources, Energy, Environment and Social Infrastructure for his significant contribution to the Development of lithium ion batteries.
