Kyushu University and National Taiwan University sign strategic partnership agreement

On September 25, 2023, Kyushu University and National Taiwan University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for strategic partnership.

At the signing ceremony, President Tatsuro Ishibashi and President Wen-Chang Chen delivered remarks, followed by the signing of the agreement.

After the ceremony, a discussion meeting was held with the Dean of Faculty and faculty members. In the meeting, President Chen expressed the desire to further enhance collaboration as strategic partners in the future. The two institutions agreed to deepen their institution-level collaborations through numerous avenues, including expanding research exchanges across various fields, further developing existing research areas, holding joint colloquia and promoting the interchange of international students and researchers from both institutions.

The partnership will promote further collaboration in education and research between the two universities and increase Kyushu University’s presence on a global stage.
