Shuri Castle Restoration (Asia Week 2021)
A lecture and panel discussion, titled “Shuri Castle Restoration” will be held on Monday 18 October.
For the first half of the lecture, we will invite the University of the Ryukyus emeritus professor Kurayoshi Takara. Professor Takara will introduce the history and cultural background of Ryukyu and his thoughts on the Shuri Castle restoration effort over the past 30 years.
In the latter half of the session, we will have a panel discussion with panelists. The lecture and panel discussion is free and open to everyone! We hope you all come and join us!
