As part of the 50th Anniversary Week of the Sweden Japan Foundation, a collaborative seminar will be held to commemorate the opening of the Kyushu University Stockholm Liaison Office and the 20th anniversary of the JSPS Stockholm Office.

The seminar, co-organized by the Embassy of Japan to Sweden, the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences(IVA), and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), will feature a guest lecture by Distinguished Professor Shigenori Fujikawa, Director of the Research Center for Negative Emissions Technologies, Kyushu University, as well as a panel discussion by researchers from Swedish industry and IVA members on how to tackle climate change. It will be hosted by Director Associate Professor Francesco Fuso-Nerini, KTH.

Participants in Japan are welcome to participate online. Anyone interested in efforts for climate actions and collaborations with Swedish institutions can join this seminar for free by registering for the event.
