1st UK-Japan Symposium on Advanced Materials for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (Online)
You are warmly invited to a virtual symposium on advanced materials for hydrogen and fuel cells, sponsored by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and supported by the Translational Energy Research Centre (University of Sheffield, UK) and the Platform of Inter/Transdisciplinary Energy Research (Kyushu University, Japan). The latest scientific advances related to hydrogen-related technologies (in particular hydrogen fuel cells) as well as the challenges that need to be tackled to expedite their widespread deployment will be presented in the symposium. The symposium brings together world-leading experts from UK and Japan on developing, synthesising and characterising novel, high-performance and cost effective materials for the hydrogen technologies, particularly the main two cost-drivers for hydrogen fuel cell technologies: the catalysts and the membrane electrolytes.
