【What is ASOC?】
ASOC (Asian Studies Online Consortium) is a research and education group organized by East Asian researchers, and exploring new research and education methods using online networks under the COVID-19.

【Key Theme: Peace, Development, Partnership in Asia: Post-Pandemic Future】
Globalization and regionalism have brought major changes to Asian politics, economy, and society; COVID-19 is also promoting such trends. At the same time, international cooperation and regionalism are being harmonized amid the dynamic and rapid changes in international relations. The Russian invasion of Ukraine added a new page to these changes. While development and partnerships are essential for a growing Asia, peace and stability have been increasingly important in the region.
This conference will examine, in the midst of radical change in international relations, peace, development, and partnership in Asia through examining specific cases and issues in political science, economics, international relations, sociology, history, anthropology, development studies, cultural studies, and humanities.
