Discover unique ways to experience the diversity of spaces and times at work in our surroundings!
Kyushu University students invite you to explore the museum’s building and its collections from three different angles.
1. Café Ephemera
Visitors are invited to observe their surroundings in the cafe, where various specimens inspire us to think about scales and times. Using pencil and paper, visitors can produce drawings, notes, or other creations to be stored in the museum cabinets in the corridor of the 3rd floor to become part of the exhibition.
2. ZOOM in zoom OUT
As if on a treasure hunt, the visitors are provided with unconventional views and remarkable details of the museum: The visitors receive a treasure hunt book and then set out to explore the museum and the museum park to recognize 'in real life' what is shown in the book.
3. Preserving Architecture
This project transforms the antique cabinets on the 3rd floor into a dynamic image sculpture, with drawers showcasing elements of the building's 1920s architecture. Through photos, texts, and original materials, visitors can explore the history, preservation, and unique details of the museum's architectural heritage.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
