Campus Restrictions: Kyushu University

Thank you for your understanding and support regarding changes to operations at Kyushu University.

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and following the government's declaration of a state of emergency in Fukuoka Prefecture, we have enforced strict measures in accordance with the levels of restrictions outlined in the university action guidelines. The state of emergency for Fukuoka Prefecture ended, and emergency-level priority measures to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus infections have been in effect in Fukuoka City.

Following this, we ask for your help in preventing the further spread of COVID-19 and protecting the health of not only our students, faculty and staff but also local residents and visitors to our campuses. Kyushu University will continue to exercise caution by refraining from accepting visitors from areas where a state of emergency has been issued, and refraining also from hosting any non-essential and non-urgent visits from areas where emergency-level priority measures are being implemented. We will reconsider the necessity of visits from areas where COVID-19 infections are rapidly spreading.

We will minimize the number of non-university-affiliated visitors, while taking the utmost care to prevent the spread of infections. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Access to Kyushu University Hospital 1 shall be allowed in accordance with the hospital's action guidelines. Use of Ito Clinic 2 is not subject to this notice.
