New Influenza Information - Issue 4
Regarding the Latest Case of New Influenza Group Infection
Several members of the Aikido Club and the Male Chorus Group “Choir Academy” presented fever and other symptoms, and visited medical institutions where they were diagnosed as having the new influenza. These students are currently being treated at home.
The university ordered these clubs to suspend their activities until October 15th (Aikido Club) and 16th (Choir Academy), respectively, to reduce the risk of spreading the infection.
If any person presents fever or other symptoms during any extra-curricular activity, please make sure to report this to the staff in charge of the department to which the person belongs.
Those who plan to participate hereafter in sporting events or other gatherings are requested to take preventive measures against infection.
The names of the clubs that have been ordered to suspended activities since publication of the last issue of new influenza information are listed below.
