Kyushu University enhances strategic partnership with National Taiwan University and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

On February 19, 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony for the Trilateral University Center took place at National Taiwan University. Representatives from the three partnering institutions, Kyushu University, National Taiwan University, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, were in attendance. President Tatsuro Ishibashi led the delegation from Kyushu University.

Kyushu University has collaborated as a strategic partner with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since 2019, and with National Taiwan University since 2023. This track record of collaboration led to the realization of this trilateral partnership. The Trilateral University Center will promote activities in education and research among the three institutions, with mutual cooperation aimed at enhancing the strategic partnership.

Through the center’s activities and collaboration efforts, Kyushu University is determined to establish itself as a hub for international talent circulation, as outlined in Kyushu University’s VISION 2030.
