About Internships in Japan for International Students

Our university actively promotes internships to support the careers of international students. We would appreciate your further cooperation in providing information on internships at companies and institutions and the participation of our students in internships.

Register Internship Information

If you plan to offer an internship lasting 5 days or more, please register through the “求人受付NAVI” (Job Acceptance NAVI – Employer Job Registration Portal).

Kyushu University accepts only the following types of internships:

  • Type 3 (General Skills Utilization): 5 days or more
  • Type 3 (Specialized Skills Utilization): 2 weeks or more
  • Type 4 (Advanced Specialized Internship)

Please note that internships shorter than 5 days are not eligible for registration.

Language for Registration

We also actively welcome internship opportunities conducted in English. Please clearly specify the language to be used in your application guidelines, brochures, and other materials.

Ex.1 ●Language of Instruction: Japanese
●Required Language Level: Ability to communicate in Japanese
Ex.2 ●Language of Instruction: English, Japanese
●Required Language Level: English (Business level), Japanese (Ability to communicate)

*Please do not submit only the English version. Make sure to include the Japanese version together with the English version. Submitting only the Japanese version is acceptable.
