This forum will focus on the theme of building an "Ecosystem for a Thriving Doctoral Talent Society." Bringing together diverse perspectives from industry, government, universities, local communities, and the international community, we will explore how to create an ecosystem in which doctoral talent is continuously nurtured, smoothly integrated into society, and empowered to make lasting contributions.
The discussion will cover every stage of the doctoral talent pipeline, from entry into doctoral programs (entry point), through degree completion and research activities (development stage), to professional success in society (exit point). By rethinking and redesigning systems that enable society as a whole to support doctoral talent at each of these stages, we aim to collaboratively envision a sustainable future in which doctoral graduates can thrive and contribute meaningfully across society.
