Invitation to Fall 2026 Opening Ceremony

We are pleased to announce that we will hold the Fall 2026 Kyushu University Opening Ceremony as follows and we look forward to your participation.

Date and Time: 11 a.m., Friday, October 2nd, 2026
Venue: Shiiki Hall, Ito Campus, Kyushu University

• Words of welcome from the President
• Expression of appreciation from representatives of new students

1. Please be seated by 10:30 a.m. as there will be the String Quartet of Kyushu University Philharmonic Orchestra performance starting at 10:40 a.m.
2. Please dress appropriately for a formal event. (suit, dress, etc.)
3. After the ceremony, each department may hold an orientation session. The details will be given by the school you will enroll.
4. Family members are welcome to attend as well.
5. The ceremony will be streamed live.
