Kyushu University holds Joint Briefing Sessions 2016 for International Students

 Joint Briefing Session 2016 for international students was held at Gymnasium, Ito Campus on March 8th, 2017 as a part of the projects, following the previous year.
 Kyushu University was selected for inclusion in the Top Global University Project administered by MEXT. It is designated a Type A grantee, the category for universities conducting world-class education and research that have the potential to be counted among the World University Rankings first 100 institutions. To achieve this goal, we enhance the career support system for international students.
 38 leading companies including manufacturing, infrastructure, and others participated in the event. Career counseling by a career advisor and lectures for job hunting were also held on that day.
 A total of 131 students, 25 doctor course students, 90 master course students, and 9 undergraduate students, from Graduate School of Engineering, Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences, Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering, Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Global Society,
Graduate School of Economics and Graduate School of Bioresource and Bioenvironmental Sciences. Participants are mainly from China, Korea, Taiwan, ASEAN countries, Middle East, Europe and Latin America.
 We will heighten awareness of career support which Kyushu University provides for international students and help them get an opportunity to work at Japanese companies.
