Partnership with United Arab Emirates University

On November 25, 2019, Kyushu University and United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), concluded an academic cooperation agreement to promote staff and student exchange and joint research between the two universities.

President Chiharu Kubo and Prof. Ahmed Ali Murad, Dean of the College of Science at UAEU, attended the signing ceremony at Kyushu University’s Ito Campus, marking the first partnership for Kyushu University with a university in the UAE.

Kyushu University is currently promoting a new national project, Study in Japan Global Network Project in Middle East and North Africa, which aims to increase the number of international students from MENA regions. The partnership with UAEU will help Kyushu University to further advance the project in the UAE in the future.
