第四回 台湾事情【疫病と台湾: 今/昔】/Taiwan Today 【Epidemic and Taiwan: the past and present】
今年は過去3回行なった2日間集中の「台湾事情」とは少し異なり、12月から1月の土曜日の午前中4日間にわたってオンラインでの集中講義を行います。メインテーマは「疫病と台湾：今と昔」とし、五人の講師が登壇いたします。台湾は現代日本が抱える様々な社会的問題意識を共有しており、台湾社会をより深く知ることにより日本社会自体を見直す機会を得る事ができると考えています。単発でのご参加も可能です。皆様の参加をお待ちしております！！
Every year Taiwan Studies Program and the 21st Century Program organize an intensive course, Taiwan Today (台湾事情), covering various issues in contemporary Taiwanese society. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, this year’s course will be offered online.
This year, we invited five distinguished speakers, a Taiwan-based writer, Ms. Hikari Sumiki (栖来 ひかり), Prof. Chizuru Tainaka（胎中千鶴） from Mejiro University, Prof. Maoko Mityaoka （宮岡真央子） from Fukuoka University, Prof. Yuko Mio (三尾裕子） from Keio University and Prof. Edward Vickers from Kyushu University.
Except for the lecture by Prof. Vickers, all the lectures will be held in Japanese. However, English interpretation will be available for all the lectures via ZOOM. (In principle, the Japanese-English translation is only available for those who registered through Moodle. If you wish for the translation service, please register from QR code and make sure to select 'yes' for the English interpreter.)
