　 ４月９日（金）、平成１６年４月１日に誕生した九州大学法科大学院（大学院法務学府：ロースクール）の第１回入学式が、新築された法科大学院棟で催されました。

　新入生１００名を前に梶山総長は、「多くの方々のご尽力で九州大学法科大学院が設置されたことを喜びたい。皆さんには九州大学ロースクールでの２、３年間に、人間性、社会性、国際性と倫理観を身に付け、最近おかしなことが多い世の中を正していただきたい」と挨拶。大出法科大学院長は、「社会生活上の医師となって、法律専門家のサポートを社会の隅々までいきわたらせるという国家的要請にこたえてほしい」と述べました。

　これに対して新入生代表の中村玲子さんは、「様々な背景を持つ私たち百名がともに学ぶことで、論理的な正しさだけでは処し切れない事案に向かうのに必要な、人としての豊かさや多角的な物の見方を身に付けられるでしょう」と期待を述べました。
