ロボカップ世界大会で九大・福大連合チーム優勝！(7/11)

　 「ロボカップ世界大会」が今年はイタリアのパドヴァ市で7/5（土）から行われ，九州大学・福岡大学連合チーム“Fusion”が中型ロボットリーグで見事優勝しました。このチームはシステム情報科学研究院長谷川勉教授と工学研究院山本元司助教授の共同チームで九大広報24号（2002年5月号）でも紹介されています。

　ロボカップにはシミュレーションリーグ，小型ロボットリーグ，中型ロボットリーグ，4足ロボット（アイボ）リーグ，ヒューマノイドリーグ，レスキューロボットリーグがあります。中型ロボットリーグは，最も技術力が要求され研究的価値の高いリーグです。昨年は福岡・釜山で開催されましたが，今年も世界各国から多くのチームが参加しました。
