　6月13日（金）の新キャンパス計画専門委員会で、イースト・センターゾーンWG長の竹下輝和教授、建築家の黒川紀章氏、コアチーム長の坂井猛助教授が、センター地区基本設計の検討結果について、梶山総長をはじめ、出席した委員、関係者に説明しました。

　黒川氏は、センター地区の設計を担当した黒川紀章・日本設計共同体を代表して出席したもの。「頂戴した様々な意見を、定められた条件下で、ベストな状態で反映するのが建築家の役割」「開かれた九州大学を表現したかった」と前置きして、新キャンパスの顔となるセンター地区の基本設計を詳細に説明しました。
