総合研究博物館常設展示室がオープン

　平成２０年５月９日（土），旧工学部本館３階に総合研究博物館の常設展示室がオープンしました。

　九州大学は，国内の大学で最大の740万点超の学術標本を有していますが，この常設展示室には本学の貴重な標本類のうち，考古資料など200点のほか，30点余の生きた植物，魚類を展示しています。

　オープンに先立ち，５月８日（金）にはオープニングセレモニーを行いました。セレモニーでは多田内館長のあいさつに引き続き，梶山総長が「多くの方々に常設展示室を訪れていただき，大きな感動を与える場にしていただきたい」と祝辞を述べ，常設展示室のオープンを祝いました。

　常設展示室の開館時間は，平日の午前１０時から午後４時３０分までですが，団体からの観覧申し込みがあった場合には，期日・時間を定めて開館することも可能です。
