日本IBM科学賞を定兼准教授が受賞

　日本アイ・ビー・エム（株）が，日本における科学分野の学術研究の振興と若手研究者の育成に寄与することを目的に創設した「日本ＩＢＭ科学賞」の，今年度のコンピュータ・サイエンス分野の受賞者として，大学院システム情報科学研究院情報工学部門の 定兼　邦彦 准教授が選ばれました。

　今回の受賞は，定兼准教授の研究業績である「超簡潔データ構造の開発」が評価されたことによるものです。
