伊都キャンパスを見学する史学長（写真右から２人目）　「このキャンパスに入るとすぐ学生の気分に戻りますね。昔学んだ理学部の教室に行ってきましたが，大学院生たちが勉強していました。」

　４月３日（月），九州大学中国同窓会会長である 史寧中 東北師範大学学長が九州大学を訪れました。
　1989年に理学研究科を卒業以来17年ぶりに箱崎キャンパスを訪れたという史学長。現在約500名という中国人留学生の数を聞き，「私が九州大学（理学部）に来た1982年当時は中国人留学生はまだ少なく，月１回，親しい仲間が集まって一緒に餃子を作って食べていましたよ」と感慨深げでした。

　梶山総長との懇談では，４月に開所し７月頃に開所関連行事を計画している九州大学北京オフィスへの援助協力や，九州－東北師範両大学の交流発展が話題になりました。

　翌４日（火）は，自ら希望して伊都キャンパスを見学した後、柴田副学長（同窓会担当）や塩田総務課長と，中国における同窓会活動について語り合いました。
