　在韓国九州大学總同窓会は1948年に設立され，約700名の帰国留学生が毎年の同窓会総会開催と年2回の会誌発行など活発な活動が続けられています。

　12月６日（火）韓国ソウル市において2004年度の在韓国同窓会総会が開催され，九州大学から梶山総長，今西理事，柳原理事らが出席しました。

　在韓国九州大学總同窓会は，元外務部長官を初め全北大学や順天大学の総長など多くの要人を輩出し、大いに活躍されています。今回は朴寛善ソウルオフィス所長，徐賢燮ソウルブランチオフィス特任教授(元在福岡韓国総領事)，洪潤植ソウルブランチオフィス特任教授の出席もあり，在韓国九州大学總同窓会，ソウルオフィス，ブランチオフィスと九州大学との連携強化が大いに期待されます。
