慶尚大学校（韓国）との協定書に調印

　 九州大学と慶尚大学校との学術交流協定及び学生交流に関する覚書が，去る１２月１４日（火），慶尚大学校において，梶山総長と趙（Cho）総長により調印されました。

　慶尚大学校は，１１学部７大学院を有する総合大学で，特に生命科学分野では，BK21プロジェクト（Brain Korea 21 Project）に選定されるなど，韓国トップレベルにあります。

　同校とは，1992年に病院間の交流協定を締結し，活発な交流を行ってきましたが，これを大学間の交流に発展させることにより，大学全体の共同研究や研究者・学生の交流などが積極的に行われることが期待されます。

　調印式後の懇談では，慶尚大学校から具体的な交流分野として，工学，生命科学，医学の分野が提案されるなど，活発な意見交換が行われ，本学の柳原理事と慶尚大学校の成（Sung）教務処長がコンタクト・パーソンとなって，今後，両大学の強みを活かしたタスクフォースを作り，協力可能な分野を検討することで合意しました。

　なお，調印式には，本学から柳原理事らが同行しました。
