　文部科学省科学技術・学術政策研究所は、２００５年より科学技術イノベーションの様々な分野において顕著な貢献をされた方々を「ナイスステップな研究者」として選定しており、２０２０年の研究者として、科学技術に対する夢を国民に与え、我が国の科学技術イノベーションの向上に貢献したことが評価され、本学から沖部奈緒子准教授（工学研究院）が選ばれました。
